Dear Friends,
There were 85 families and individuals who donated $29,799 to the 2021 Annual Appeal. What an outpouring of generosity!

I am writing now to all parishioners, to the more than 1,000 people who consider Lourdes their parish. I am deeply grateful for your support of Lourdes Parish through your devotional prayers, sacrificial giving, and generous service.

This note is to explain the value of your gift to the Annual Appeal 2022 through the Archdiocese, for which our goal is $28,210.  Last year, our rebate was $1,589 due to your gifts in excess of the goal as of 12/31/2021.  The same rebate remains in effect. However, with "June 30" approaching, I wish to alert you to an additional incentive.

Right now, we have $18,775 in pledges toward our $28,210 goal for 2022. If we make our goal by June 30, Lourdes Parish receives more benefits financially. That is, the Archdiocese reduces the financial obligation of "archdiocesan assessment", accordingly. This is the "bottom line" benefit for Lourdes for your gifts made to "Annual Appeal 2022"

• If pledges meet or exceed $28,210 (by June 30), this year's assessment is reduced by $7,500.

• If gifts "fully paid" meet or exceed $28,210 (by June 30), this year's assessment is reduced by $15,000.

I recognize that economic conditions and inflation have caused trouble and uncertainty for many in our parish family. I only ask that you give what you are able.
