Religious Formation at Our Lady of Lourdes takes a different approach from the
school based model we used to call CCD.
We wanted to be
in alignment with the archdiocesan guidelines as well as those of the greater
Catholic Church in the United States.
We also wanted to be able to serve the unique needs of our families who
are from many different cultural backgrounds, have diverse work schedules and
diverse family dynamics.
So we have designed a format that gives you options.
Families with students in grades 1 - 5 have the option of coming with
your child to a family based program twice a month or home schooling.
The family based program will
give you a choice of coming either on Saturday afternoons from 3:45P.M. to 5:15
P.M, on Monday evenings from 7 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. or Tuesday evenings from 7 P.M.
to 8:30 P.M.
Students
in Grades 6 - 12 will have sessions twice a month on
Monday evenings from 7 P.M. - 9 P.M.
We have included grades 9 - 12 for those families who have students
seeking Confirmation but who have not been in Religious Formation for several
years. Families with 6th
grade students can also choose to have their child be in a family based program
or home schooling instead of the Monday evening program.

If you are a
family who was in the program last year check the information carefully on your
preprinted form and make any necessary changes. Your email address allows us to
send you a reminder for each class.
If you need to add a child please add their information in the blank
area. Change the grade level, the session, (Family,Homestudy or Jr/Sr High) and
the day (Monday, Tuesday or Saturday) for each child.
Sacrament Fee $50 The cost of our books has gone up so we
have to raise the sacrament fee.)
